The Story of My Experiments with Truth is the collection of memoirs of Mohandas K. Gandhi, covering his life from early youth through to 1921. It was written in week by week portions and distributed in his diary Navjivan from 1925 to 1929. Its English interpretation likewise showed up in portions in his other diary Young India.[1] It was started at the request of Swami Anand and other close collaborators of Gandhi, who urged him to clarify the foundation of his open crusades. In 1999, the book was assigned as one of the "100 Best Spiritual Books of the twentieth Century" by a board of trustees of worldwide otherworldly and religious specialists

Beginning with his days as a kid, Gandhi takes one through his preliminaries and disturbances and circumstances that shaped his theory of life – experiencing youngster marriage, his examinations in England, specializing in legal matters in South Africa – and his Satyagraha there – to the early beginnings of the Independence development in India.

He didn't plan to compose a collection of memoirs yet rather share the experience of his different analyses with truth to land at what he saw as Absolute Truth – the perfect of his battle against prejudice, viciousness and expansionism.
